Functional Analysis and Operator Algebras in Athens

March 12-13, 2022	Workshop in Dimitros Gatzouras' memory Dimitris Gatzouras was a member of the Section of Mathematical Analysis of the Department of Mathematics since 2016. Dimitris passed away unexpectedly in December 2020. Our department's community will always remember him affectionately and will keep his memory alive. The two-day workshop, to be held in the Department on March 12 and 13, 2022 is devoted to his memory.
May 29-30, 2020	Constantin Carathéodory's scientific work and its impact on Mathematics and Physics The aim of the workshop is to present the contribution of Carathéodory to different areas of Mathematics and Physics and to focus on the influence of his scientific work. Among the topics to be covered are: Calculus of Variations, Partial Differential Equations, Geometry, Function Theory, Measure Theory, Optics, Thermodynamics and Relativity.
July 16-17, 2019	Summer Meeting of Young Researchers in Mathematics The meeting aims to bring together young researchers in mathematics, who work in Greece or abroad. The talks are oriented towards a wider mathematical audience.
July 8-13, 2019	8th Summer School in Operator Theory The School is for graduate and undergraduate students, PhD students and junior researchers, and aims in presenting the research area of Operator Algebra Theory, as well as its interaction with other fields in modern mathematics.

June 25-29, 2007	Phenomena in High Dimensions (Samos) The conference took place in Samos, Greece. It was the third annual conference of the Marie Curie Research Training Network "Phenomena in High Dimensions" (MRTN-CT-2004-511953).
